Henkel Polska Sp. z o.o. is a part of international conglomerate Henkel, one of the top chemical producers n the world. Henkel’s offer includes both consumer items: cosmetics and hair care products (e.g. Palette, Schauma, Gliss Kur, Taft, Fa, Bac, Hattric, Denivit, Schwarzkopf Professional), laundry and home care products (e.g. Persil, Rex, Perwoll, Bref, Pur, Clin, Silan), and professional products: for construction business (with brands like Ceresit-Bautechnik, Pattex, Metylan, Thomsit), adhesives for car industry (Loctite), industrial adhesives, sealants and surface treatments for metal industry. Central and Eastern Europe region of Henkel (Henkel CEE) covers 44 countries and to large extent overlaps with S&T area of business.

Challenges


Henkel Polska – along with other Henkel CEE branches – expected a turnkey solution for leasing of corporation-unified desktop PCs, notebooks, and monitors for the company, supported by 3-year service agreement for an entire leasing period. In addition to that, standard office software had to be installed on all computers supplied to Henkel as an extra paid assignment.

Project


As a result of negotiations between both parties, a corporate contract has been signed between Henkel CEE and S&T Austria GmBH, that concerned cooperation in countries where the companies are present, which also included services for Henkel CEE headquarters in Vienna.
In a year S&T delivered more than 350 desktops, notebooks, and LCD monitors for Henkel Polska staff.

Benefits


Henkel Polska, according to its corporate policy, has obtained the equipment with effective service for its employees from a single source in CEE region. The contract was based on a convenient leasing arrangement. The deal signed in Poland contributed to extension of cooperation in CEE region to new locations (Stąporków, Dzierżoniów, Stobno, Ciechanów, Bielsko-Biała, Raciborz production plants and Henkel Polska headquarters in Warsaw and offices in Poznań, altogether to more than 700 users).
