S&T won the Hitachi Best Service Partner title

The award for the best national service was accepted on behalf of S&T, by Sławomir Jurzysta, responsible for infrastructure, service support, also for mass storage systems produced by Hitachi .

This year’s award is another proof of Hitachi recognition for extraordinary skills and competences of S&T consultants and engineers. S&T had been named Hitachi Best Service Partner in 2005, and Grzegorz Masal was nominated as the best Hitachi Service Engineer in Poland in 2004 and 2005.

According to Patrick Flanagan, CEO of S&T Services Polska Sp. z o.o., this is vendor – like Hitachi – who can fully and professionally evaluate level of services rendered for the equipment installed at clients: „Another success of our colleagues from Hitachi service – headed by Grzegorz Masal – was caused by their everyday commitment to customers and ability to effectively solve complex technical problems. Such an attitude is appreciated by our partners from Hitachi and users of mass storage systems at our clients’.”

S&T Services Polska has been rendering services for Hitachi data storage systems since 2001. There are following Hitachi units that are serviced by S&T: Thunder 9200, Thunder 9500V and TagmaStore WMS/AMS modular storage, Hitachi Lightning 9900, 9900V and TagmaStore USP enterprise storage. Hitachi storage systems are the most important elements of Storage Area Networks (SAN), delivered and implemented by S&T, along with Brocade and McData fibre-channel switches and HBA cards.

Currently S&T handles more than 50 Hitachi storage systems and 30 storage area networks (SAN) at Polish companies and institutions.
