S&T Services Polska recognized as “The Reliable Employer of 2007”

Awarding the title to S&T Services Polska was decided following assessment of potential of career development for employees, working environment, extensive benefits package, and exemplary observing all employer’s duties, which was conducted by independent jury. The jury took into account both outside opinions, expressed by the company’s business partners and clients, along with employees’ evaluations.

“The Reliable Employer 2007” title is another proof of high grades consistently given by employees in annual surveys for excellent handling of HR issues and for management of S&T Services Polska. More than 80% of S&T staff participated in the last anonymous employee satisfaction survey, which clearly shows employees commitment to company’s matters. S&T employees appreciate friendly work environment, transparent expectations of superiors and setting measurable objectives, open relationships and keeping words by managers, accepting staff input during decision making, all of which show features of a participatory organizational culture. No wonder that adherence of staff to their company has been consistently high for years.

Many employees – despite relatively young age, typical for IT industry – have been working at S&T for more than 10 years, and several key managers started out from entry-level positions. Staff turnover has been for years low at 3-4% per annum, and some of those who quit to join big corporations return to S&T, which shows their strong relationships with the firm.

S&T Services Polska is currently conducting an extensive program of trainings and seminars for employees, available to all willing persons. The company co-finances up to 50% of tuition at universities and colleges, not necessarily directly relevant to employees’ daily duties. S&T also supports extracurricular activities, like soccer team, playing in business league, fishing, swimming, horse-riding (including company-paid weekends on horseback).
“The Reliable Employer” title has been granted to Polish companies and institutions since 2004.
