Network Services

NetService is a proprietary model of network services provided by S&T Services Polska, including full technical supervision and support for managing IT networks on different levels - projects, hardware delivery, implementation of solutions and technical support.

According to S&T, a company’s IT network resembles the human nervous system, as it is responsible for delivery and exchange of information, as well as interaction between elements and users of any advanced IT system.

NetService covers all issues concerning IT networks in companies and institutions: from infrastructure design, through hardware and software selection and implementation of procedures used to monitor network resources, to network service and twenty-four-hour IT security support.

S&T’s NetService also includes detailed auditing and inventory-taking of workstations, servers, operating systems, applications and other elements of infrastructure in a company or an institution. These form the basis for effective management of IT resources, and consequently for optimizing the use of computers in a company.

S&T has developed certain procedures used for monitoring of the current status of a company's network systems.

While planning and modernizing IT networks, S&T allows for the necessity of cooperation with Internet telephony (VoIP) or utilization of power grids for data transmission. Other important factor include: quick response to system errors, the system’s capacity to resume operation as quickly as possible, unassisted configuration, and - first and foremost - service quality. S&T takes advantage of the most advanced technologies, including MultiProtocol Label Switching (IP/MPLS), based on broadband transmission, the possibility of adaptation to different scales of operations, the ease of network management, and potential use of the Internet for venturing into new areas of network services.

Constant service support offered by S&T ensures that failures resulting in network downtime can be removed as quickly as possible. Periodic personnel training in terms of effective use of IT technology and safe utilization of network resources can significantly improve the client’s working capacity and quality.

The support provided for IT networks and various constituent network devices is described in detail by means of the Service Level Agreement (SLA). This defines the precise period of response to the client's support requests, the repair period for hardware, systems and applications, as well as availability of technicians during the day. The level of client service and client satisfaction are constantly monitored and analysed.

NetService includes the following services:

  • IT system service and support, including network security audits, network monitoring, network management and maintenance, extended hardware service, consultations and training.
